Windows Phone 7 Series
Windows Phone 7 Series is exactly what a Microsoft phone should be. It brings together a bunch of different Microsoft services—Zune, Xbox, Bing—in a way that actually makes sense and just works. But here’s a question: Is Microsoft too late to the mobile revolution party? Their first Windows Phone 7 Series won’t be available in stores until late 2010. That is 3 years behind Apple’s iPhone and 2 years behind Google’s Android.
I think people underestimate Microsoft a bit when it comes to Mobiles but given a proper marketing strategy and the backing of its worldwide partners, i see Microsoft gaining a foothold in the mobile industry until some Microsoft genius screws it up. I’m actually excited to pick one up from my local Philippine store and try it out, the Windows Phone 7 series looks that promising. Continue…
