MSI Wind shipping with inferior touchpads?

Rumor Alert! MSIWind.net forum members are reporting that only the first batch of MSI Wind ultraportables includes the Synaptic touchpad. Later MSI Wind batches reportedly include the less featured and inferior Sentelic touchpad.

If this is true then MSI cutting edges on the latest batches of MSI Winds. A sign of pushing profitability over anything else or a misjudgment on MSI’s part?

The Sentelic touchpad does not have finger sliding scroll features that are commonly found in many touchpads, instead scrolling is done by tapping the corners of the touchpad. Disabling the touch-to-click feature is also absent from the Sentelic touchpad settings and is causing frustration with users.
